TRADISIONAL FOOD : RENDANG MINANG



Hi guys.. my mom, Umie have beeN tryiNg to make this perfect dish for us a few time already.. but last SuNday, all umie's hardworkiNg pracktice have make a very fiNe dish for us.. My dad, abah love the dish very much aNd we ate all the reNdaNg till the fryiNg paN cleaNed.. Abah praise umie several time aNd asked her if she still have the eNergy to cooked while we all helped her to cook but this time iN A BIG FRYING PAN(kawah) to share our happiNess with our Neighbour.. i'm sure you all will love this dish so much till you lick all your fiNger till cleaNed..  V^_^V.. Ingredients:

1 kg beef, cut and clean
2 stalks lemongrass
20 dried chillies, soaked and chopped fine
10 pieces of chilli padi]
5 cm ginger]
5 cm ginger] finely chopped
5 cm turmeric]
15 shallots]
10 cloves garlic]
4 tablespoons grated coconut, for kerisek
2 grated coconut, take 3 cup coconut milk, if the meat tough, can add the coconut milk
8 shallots, and 4 cloves of garlic, and mixed with a little salt.
Sugar and salt to taste



Method:
                                                                                                                            
1. Add beef, lemon grass, ground ingredients in a saucepan.
2. Add coconut milk, stir until meat is tender.
3. Enter kerisek, sugar and salt to taste.
4. Heat oil in another pan, fry the onion-garlic. When cool, put into the shady and mix well.
